During this 12-week short course, you will learn some of the fundamental principles of animation with an emphasis on how to make that process creative and fun. Classes will be covering universal animation concepts like “key frames”, “timing and spacing”, “overlapping action”, as well as the more general story telling and acting performance skills plus the software skills needed in Maya.

Each week you will watch a live animation demo, and you'll be able follow along and ask questions as you go. After each class you will receive a homework assignment which will be critiqued in the next class, and you will receive ongoing feedback during the semester.
