CDW courses are split into two semesters to work along with the Flinders University schedule. Those who do not wish to do the BCA DM course can enrol in one of our 12 week courses.

Each class will push your drawing, painting, modelling/texturing and design skills to the next level. During the courses you will learn how to use industry specific programs with a focus on building your portfolio/reel. You will get to see current production techniques used in the industry in every class with the LIVE demos. Students are given set assignments throughout the semester and will receive weekly feedback and draw/paint-overs.

Each CDW course is taught by working industry professionals who have worked for a range of international companies such as Disney, Blizzard Entertainment, Rising Sun Pictures, WETA, Wizards of the Coast and LEGO, just to name a few.

We recommend students who have not attended CDW courses before start with these courses. These foundation courses will provide you with a solid base level of skills and knowledge that you can take into any of our other courses and build upon and also apply in your own art practice. Students can also use these as a starting point to develop their portfolio.

Our advanced courses make up the majority of our courses for the Bachelor of Creative Arts in Digital Media degree, and are directed at Artists who are looking to push themselves to the next level. Advanced courses require portfolio entry for new students.
