Life Drawing Sessions

GEN­ER­AL INFORMATION

We host open and unin­struct­ed Life Draw­ing on Fri­day nights at CDW Stu­dios. No expe­ri­ence is nec­es­sary, no pre­req­ui­sites, all keen artists are wel­come to attend. Easels and draw­ing-hors­es are avail­able for use (first in best dressed) but you will need to sup­ply your own draw­ing mate­ri­als — pen­cils, paper etc, or you can pur­chase these from our art store. 

Where: CDW Stu­dios, Lev­el 4, Myer Cen­tre, Run­dle Mall (access via the glass lift clos­est to King William Street)

When: Fri­day nights 6:00pm‑9:00pm (exclud­ing pub­lic hol­i­days and Uni­ver­si­ty breaks)

Cost: 

• $11.00 + book­ing fee
• $6 + book­ing fee for cur­rent BCA-VEED stu­dents (call 0406 635 897 for the pro­mo code, you must have a cur­rent Flinders Stu­dent ID and be enrolled in the BCA-VEED degree).

BOOK­INGS ESSEN­TIAL — Please book your spot via the link below (one per­son per book­ing). You will be tak­en to the eventbrite web­site to fill in a reg­is­tra­tion form, pay the fee and then sent a tick­et with a bar­code from Eventbrite. You will receive a reminder email the day before the booking.

Note: As the patrons cov­er the cost for the mod­el and book­ing, if we do not receive enough funds to cov­er the cost of the ses­sion at least two days pri­or to the ses­sion, it will be can­celled, and all patrons will be refund­ed and emailed to noti­fy them of the cancellation.

*We are lim­it­ed to 30 spots per ses­sion. If a ses­sion is full, there is wait­list avail­able via eventbrite. You will be noti­fied via email when a spot becomes available.

*Mobile phones and devices with cam­eras are not per­mit­ted in the room while the mod­el is pos­ing. If you need to use your device or mobile please leave the room. You may pho­to­graph your draw­ings dur­ing breaks. Tak­ing pho­tos of the mod­el is not permitted.

*Once a ses­sion fills up a wait­list is avail­able through eventbrite, or you can just book for the next avail­able session.

All are wel­come, you do not need to be an exist­ing stu­dent to attend, we just encour­age you to book so that you don’t miss out. Once you have booked your ses­sion you will receive a con­fir­ma­tion email from Eventbrite, and then a reminder email the day before! Once the ses­sion fills up, this means it is booked out. Not to wor­ry though, you can book for the next ses­sion below! If you need to can­cel, you can do this your­self or just email us to let us know and we will can­cel it for you.
