Our final holiday workshop for the year will be a 2D workshop with concept designer and CDW Studios Instructor Ned Rogers on October 6-7, 2018. This 2-day workshop teaches the fundamentals of digital painting including colour theory and design theory, Ned will take you through how he composes a painting from scratch!

For this workshop you are welcome to bring along your own laptop, Photoshop and WACOM tablet. Also bring along a notebook/sketchbook to follow along and take notes.

Ned is an Adelaide based concept designer and illustrator who has worked in the entertainment industry for more than 7 years. He specialises in pre-production pitch design, world building and environment design.

In this workshop you will learn how to generate ideas quickly, gather reference, paint interesting compositions and use perspective that help form the basis of fully realised digital paintings. You will then work with you put these into practice within your own work. If you are a student who wants to know how to get a job in the industry, or looking to improve your portfolio we recommend you try our holiday workshops first.
