3D World Building 2
A fast-paced workshop, students will be required to follow a brief to create a 3D environment in Unreal Engine 4. (Prerequisite: World Building 1)
Students will apply techniques learned in World Building 1 and create a AAA game environment. Using Maya you will block the elements for your environment, improve populating scenes and also animate environment props.
This course covers:
- Prop modelling in Maya
- Sculpting in Zbrush
- Creating maps in substance painter?
- Creating a scene
The hardware requirements for the workshop are:
- Laptop (MacBook Pro or i7 PC laptop with 16GB RAM are recommended).
- Wacom tablet. Any size is good.
- Notepad and pens/pencils for note-taking.
- Unreal Engine 4
- Autodesk Maya
- Substance painter
